Wine, Beer and Spirit Tasting Calendar
Sip, savour, socialise and learn with Ellies Cellar’s tasting events, commencing Tuesday 14th May.
We will be pulling our first cork in Ellies Cellar, 56 High Street, Linlithgow on Tuesday 14th May, with the tastings running from 8.00 - 9.30 p.m. Tickets will be available in advance priced £10 per head (unless otherwise stated) available from the shop or online at www.elliescellar.com

Tasting Schedule
Tuesday 14th May;
The wine taste test. If you know you enjoy wine but struggle to move away from a few tried and tested favourites or if you are still looking for that ‘breakthrough’ wine that you drunk some years ago, then this tasting is for you. We help you understand why you like what you do and more importantly help grow your confidence to choose others that will suit you. (equal red and white).
Wednesday 22nd May
Dark Beers – are they the most rewarding and complex of beers? You can decide for yourself by trying some our comprehensive selection.
Tuesday 28th May
Life beyond Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc – basic NZ Sauvignon is thee wine of choice at the moment. Always consistent, reliable and refreshing but what do you drink for a change? Join us to try our suggestions when we go past your basic Villa Maria, Oyster Bay or supermarket own label. (white wine only).
Wednesday 5th June;
Spain – Rioja and beyond. In these inflationary times, we would make a case for Spain offering some of the best value to be found anywhere in the wine world. Join us to uncover the gems and surprises that are hiding beyond Rioja. (predominantly red wines).
Tuesday 11th June;
Top table wines £15 +. Unfortunately you don’t always get more when you pay more but join us where we present wines which we believe do deliver on their promise. Open to everyone but maybe best suited to drinkers who enjoy a wide variety of styles. (red and white). £15 per ticket
Tuesday 25th June
Gin, but not as we remember it! Gin is enjoying a renaissance at present when everything traditional is up for challenge. Join us to discover many of the leading lights in this new premium category.

Tickets can be bought online or in store. If you buy your ticket online it will not be sent to you; we will send you a confirmation email of your purchase please bring this with you as this will be used as your ticket.
